The Wilton Beavers baseball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting West Branch Bears to 8 in the Beavers league win on Tuesday.

The Beavers now hold a 16-10 record. They take the field next when they host Highland for a non-league test on Wednesday, July 2. Wilton will play a Huskies team coming off a 11-1 league win over Wapello (Wapello, IA). The Huskies record now stands at 12-6.

With the defeat, West Branch drops to 3-21 on the year. The Bears host Cascade (Cascade, IA) to play the Cougars in a non-league test on Saturday, July 5. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 13-7.
