Next, the Comets play the Highland Huskies (Riverside, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, July 2. West Liberty will attempt to upgrade on its 18-6 season record. The Huskies enter the challenge with a 7-10 record after their 4-1 league win over Wapello (Wapello, IA).

The Wildcats (17-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Wilton (Wilton, IA). The Beavers enter the non-league challenge with a 12-10 record. In their last challenge, Wilton edged West Branch (West Branch, IA), 10-1, in a league challenge.
