In Friday's league test, the Mason City Mohawks (Mason City, IA) baseball team the host Fort Dodge Dodgers (Fort Dodge, IA), by a count of 6-2.
The Mohawks now own a 22-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Valley for a non-league test on Monday, July 14. Mason City will play a Tigers team coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Roosevelt (Des Moines, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 24-12.
With the defeat, Fort Dodge drops to 25-14 on the year.
