The Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union Royals baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Sioux Central Rebels to 0 in the Royals non-league win on Tuesday.

The Royals now own a 13-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn for a War Eagle test on Saturday, July 6. Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union will play a Hawks team coming off a 2-0 league loss to George-Little Rock (George, IA). The Hawks record now stands at 3-17.

With the defeat, Sioux Central drops to 12-10 on the year. The Rebels travel to Unity Christian (Orange City, IA) to play the Knights in a non-league test on Wednesday, July 3. The Knights go into the test with a record of 19-10. Unity Christian won 9-0 in their recent non-league test against Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley (Rock Valley, IA)
