The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the West Marshall Trojans (State Center, IA) and the host Greene County Rams (Jefferson, IA), saw West Marshall's baseball team gain a win over Greene County by a tally of 9-0.

The Trojans (16-10) will now prepare for their battle against Pella Christian (Pella, IA). The Eagles enter the non-league battle with a 7-20 record. In their last battle, Pella Christian was overwhelmed by Indianola (Indianola, IA), 11-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Rams face the Prairie City-Monroe Mustangs (Monroe, IA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, July 3. Greene County will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record. The Mustangs enter the battle with a 6-9 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Newton (Newton, IA).
