The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Roland-Story Norsemen (Story City, IA) and the visiting Lenox Tigers (Lenox, IA), saw Roland-Story's baseball team gain a win over Lenox by a tally of 14-3.

The Norsemen (20-8) will now prepare for their battle against Perry (Perry, IA). The Bluejays enter the non-league battle with a 2-18 record. In their last battle, Perry was overwhelmed by South Hamilton (Jewell, IA), 7-5, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Tigers face the Mount Ayr Raiders (Mount Ayr, IA) in a Pride of Iowa battle, on Thursday, July 3. Lenox will attempt to upgrade on its 17-9 season record. The Raiders enter the battle with a 14-4 record after their 15-3 league win over Wayne (Corydon, IA).
