In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Osage Green Devils baseball team scored a close 14-8 win over the Nashua-Plainfield Huskies.

The Green Devils (13-9) will now prepare for their game against Webster City (Webster City, IA). The Lynx go into the non-league game with a 11-15 record. In their last game, Webster City nudged Forest City (Forest City, IA), 14-11, in a non-league game.

Next, the Huskies play the Charles City Comets (Charles City, IA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, July 2. Nashua-Plainfield will attempt to improve on its 4-15 season record. The Comets go into the game with a 1-22 record after their 12-1 league loss to Decorah-North Winneshiek (Decorah, IA).
