Iowa High School Softball - Camanche bounces Davenport Central

In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Camanche Indians softball team scored a nice 13-5 victory over the Davenport Central Blue Devils.
The Indians (4-19) will now prepare for their match against Clinton (Clinton, IA). The River Kings go into the non-league match with a 4-28 record. In their last match, Clinton was routed by Davenport North (Davenport, IA), 19-0, in a league match.
In their next game, the Blue Devils battle the Assumption Knights (Davenport, IA) in a Mississippi Athletic match, on Thursday, July 3. Davenport Central will attempt to better on its 5-29 season record. The Knights go into the match with a 20-12 record after their 6-0 league win over Central DeWitt (DeWitt, IA).
