The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the East Marshall Mustangs (Le Grand, IA) and the host South Hardin Tigers (Eldora, IA), observed East Marshall's softball team notch a victory over South Hardin by a final score of 17-0.

The Mustangs (24-9) will now prepare for their bout against BCLUW (Conrad, IA). The Comets go into the non-league bout with a 19-7 record. In their last bout, BCLUW gained a win over Collins-Maxwell (Maxwell, IA), 5-2, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Aplington-Parkersburg Falcons (Parkersburg, IA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, July 2. South Hardin will attempt to better on its 3-19 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 3-21 record after their 7-0 league loss to Denver (Denver, IA).
