The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Shenandoah Mustangs (Shenandoah, IA) and the visiting Harlan Cyclones (Harlan, IA), observed Shenandoah's softball team notch a victory over Harlan by a final score of 8-0.

The Mustangs (10-17) will now prepare for their bout against Glenwood (Glenwood, IA). The Rams go into the Hawkeye 10 bout with a 13-19 record. In their last bout, Glenwood was routed by Treynor (Treynor, IA), 6-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Cyclones battle the Underwood Eagles (Underwood, IA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, July 2. Harlan will attempt to better on its 7-22 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 9-22 record after their 7-6 non-league loss to Woodbury Central (Moville, IA).
