Iowa High School Baseball - Aplington-Parkersburg defeats Gladbrook-Reinbeck

In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Aplington-Parkersburg Falcons baseball team scored a nice 9-1 victory over the Gladbrook-Reinbeck Rebels.

The Falcons (17-6) will now prepare for their game against Grundy Center (Grundy Center, IA). The Spartans enter the non-league game with a 16-6 record. In their last game, Grundy Center defeated Union (La Porte City, IA), 7-1, in a non-league game.

Next, the Rebels face the St. Edmond Gaels (Fort Dodge, IA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, July 6. Gladbrook-Reinbeck will attempt to improve on its 3-20 season record. The Gaels enter the game with a 7-14 record after their 6-5 non-league win over West Bend-Mallard (West Bend, IA).
