The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the North Iowa Bison (Buffalo Center, IA) and the host West Hancock Eagles (Britt, IA), observed North Iowa's softball team get by West Hancock by a tally of 11-4.

The Bison (6-14) will now prepare for their bout against Northwood-Kensett (Northwood, IA). The Vikings go into the non-league bout with a 2-17 record. In their last bout, Northwood-Kensett was routed by North Butler (Greene, IA), 8-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the North Union Warriors (Armstrong, IA) in a Top of Iowa-West bout, on Monday, July 7. West Hancock will attempt to advance on its 3-16 season record.
