The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Southeast Polk Rams (Pleasant Hill, IA) and the visiting Waukee Warriors (Waukee, IA), observed Southeast Polk's softball team get by Waukee by a tally of 6-3.

The Rams (26-9) will now prepare for their bout against Northwest (Waukee, IA). The Wolves go into the CIML bout with a 26-2 record. In their last bout, Northwest tipped Ankeny (Ankeny, IA), 5-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Warriors clash with the Dowling Catholic Maroons (West Des Moines, IA) in a CIML bout, on Monday, July 7. Waukee will attempt to advance on its 13-18 season record. The Maroons go into the bout with a 8-12 record after their 5-1 non-league loss to Dallas Center-Grimes (Dallas Center, IA).
