Iowa High School Softball - Tri-County holds off English Valleys

Tri-County Trojans (Thornburg, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host English Valleys Bears (North English, IA), 5-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Trojans now own a 11-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Twin Cedars for a non-league challenge on Friday, July 7. Tri-County will battle a Sabers squad coming off a 6-2 non-league win over Moravia (Moravia, IA). The Sabers record now stands at 20-5.

With the loss, English Valleys falls to 16-7 on the campaign.
