In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Valley Tigers (Elgin, IA) softball team overwhelmed the host Waukee Warriors (Waukee, IA), by a margin of 11-1.
With the triumph, Valley moves its record to 18-6 on the year.
In their next game, the Warriors play the Jefferson Yellowjackets (Council Bluffs, IA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, July 8. Waukee will attempt to move on its 16-22 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the contest with a 12-26 record after their 14-0 non-league loss to Lewis Central (Council Bluffs, IA).
