The Waverly-Shell Rock Go-Hawks softball team scored 10 runs and held the host Decorah-North Winneshiek Vikings to 3 in the Go-Hawks league win on Friday.

The Go-Hawks now possess a 19-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sumner-Fredericksburg for a non-league battle on Friday, July 5.

With the loss, Decorah-North Winneshiek moves to 9-17 on the season. The Vikings travel to New Hampton (New Hampton, IA) to confront the Chickasaws in a non-league battle on Monday, July 8. The Chickasaws come into the battle with a record of 13-11. New Hampton lost 10-3 in their recent league battle against Waverly-Shell Rock (Waverly, IA)
