In Friday's league test, the Forest City Indians (Forest City, IA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting West Hancock Eagles (Britt, IA), by a tally of 18-1.

Next, the Indians clash with the Algona Bulldogs (Algona, IA) in a non-league test, on Monday, July 8. Forest City will attempt to advance on its 14-6 season record. The Bulldogs go into the test with a 11-15 record after their 4-3 league win over Clear Lake (Clear Lake, IA).

The Eagles (2-22) will now prepare for their test against North Iowa (Buffalo Center, IA). The Bison go into the Top of Iowa-West test with a 11-9 record. In their last test, North Iowa prevailed over West Hancock (Britt, IA), 14-4, in a league test.
