The Jesup J-Hawks softball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Kee Kee Hawks to 1 in the J-Hawks non-league win on Friday.

The J-Hawks now sport a 21-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Aplington-Parkersburg for a non-league battle on Monday, July 8. Jesup will confront a Falcons team coming off a 12-2 non-league win over South Tama County (Tama, IA). The Falcons record now stands at 12-12.

With the loss, Kee moves to 11-16 on the season. The Kee hawks travel to Central (Elkader, IA) to confront the Warriors in a Upper Iowa battle on Monday, July 8. The Warriors come into the battle with a record of 2-19. Central lost 4-2 in their recent league battle against MFL MarMac (Monona, IA)
