The crowd at Monday's league battle between the Ottumwa Bulldogs (Ottumwa, IA) and the visiting Des Moines East Scarlets (Des Moines, IA), saw Ottumwa's baseball team gain a win over Des Moines East by a tally of 10-0.

The Bulldogs (22-11) will now prepare for their battle against Southeast Polk (Pleasant Hill, IA). The Rams enter the non-league battle with a 20-17 record. In their last battle, Southeast Polk prevailed over Northwest (Waukee, IA), 16-6, in a league battle.

Next, the Scarlets face the Indianola Indians (Indianola, IA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, July 8. Des Moines East will attempt to upgrade on its 3-16 season record. The Indians enter the battle with a 28-5 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Carlisle (Carlisle, IA).
