The Unity Christian Knights softball team scored 11 runs and held the host Spirit Lake Indians to 1 in the Knights non-league win on Monday.

The Knights now possess a 18-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Odebolt Arthur Battle Creek Ida Grove for a non-league battle on Thursday, July 10. Unity Christian will confront a Falcons team coming off a 14-3 non-league win over South Central Calhoun (Lake City, IA). The Falcons record now stands at 9-12.

With the loss, Spirit Lake moves to 6-19 on the season. The Indians travel to Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley (Rock Valley, IA) to confront the NIGHTHAWKS in a non-league battle on Monday, July 7. The NIGHTHAWKS come into the battle with a record of 12-12. Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley lost 6-5 in their recent non-league battle against Spencer (Spencer, IA)
