In Monday's non-league game, the visiting Clear Creek-Amana Clippers baseball team scored a nice 12-1 win over the Iowa City West Trojans.
The Clippers (20-15) will now prepare for their game against Williamsburg (Williamsburg, IA). The Raiders go into the WaMac-West game with a 11-21 record. In their last game, Williamsburg knocked off Beckman (Dyersville, IA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
Next, the Trojans play the Davenport Central Blue Devils (Davenport, IA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, July 10. Iowa City West will attempt to improve on its 12-14 season record. The Blue Devils go into the game with a 22-12 record after their 7-1 non-league win over Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, IA).
