The Crestwood Cadets (Cresco, IA) softball routed the host Waukon Indians (Waukon, IA), 7-2 in Monday's non-league outing.

The Cadets now sport a 12-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Charles City for a Northeast Iowa outing on Tuesday, July 9. Crestwood will encounter a Comets team coming off a 15-10 non-league win over Waukon (Waukon, IA). The Comets record now stands at 24-4.

With the loss, Waukon moves to 8-19 on the season. The Indians travel to New Hampton (New Hampton, IA) to encounter the Chickasaws in a Northeast Iowa outing on Thursday, July 11. The Chickasaws come into the outing with a record of 13-13. New Hampton lost 17-15 in their recent non-league outing against Clear Lake (Clear Lake, IA)
