In Thursday's non-league match, the host Pickens Dragons softball team scored a nice 10-2 win over the Union County Panthers.

The Dragons (1-1) will now prepare for their match against East Hall (Gainesville, GA). The Vikings come into the non-league match with a 0-0 record.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Woodland Wildcats (Cartersville, GA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, August 3. Union County will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record.
