Pierce County Bears (Blackshear, GA) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they observed their softball team get by the visiting Brunswick Pirates (Brunswick, GA), 10-9 in a non-league bout.
The Bears (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against Charlton County (Folkston, GA). The Indians go into the non-league bout with a 2-0 record. In their last bout, Charlton County tipped Worth County (Sylvester, GA), 8-6, in a non-league bout.
