Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Elmore City-Pernell Badgers (Elmore City, OK) and the visiting Apache Warriors (Apache, OK), witnessed Elmore City-Pernell's softball squad tip Apache by a count of 4-0.

The Badgers now sport a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Empire for a Class A match on Monday, August 14.

With the loss, Apache moves to 1-1 on the season. The Warriors host Ringling (Ringling, OK) to face the Blue Devils in a non-league match on Friday, August 11. The Blue Devils go into the match with a record of 4-1. Ringling won 7-0 in their recent non-league match against Wayne (Wayne, OK)
