Dade County Wolverines (Trenton, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe Warriors (Fort Oglethorpe, GA), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Wolverines now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Southeast Whitfield County for a non-league challenge on Friday, August 11. Dade County will face a Raiders squad coming off a 13-0 non-league loss to Woodland (Cartersville, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Chattooga (Summerville, GA) to face the Indians in a non-league challenge on Friday, August 11. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 1-0. Chattooga won 12-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Model (Rome, GA)
