Spectators at Thursday's league match between the Dickson Comets (Ardmore, OK) and the visiting Madill Wildcats (Madill, OK), witnessed Dickson's softball squad prevail over Madill by a count of 17-0.
The Comets now sport a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Ada for a non-league match on Monday, August 14. Dickson will face a Cougars squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Pauls Valley (Pauls Valley, OK). The Cougars record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Madill moves to 1-1 on the season. The Wildcats host Byng (Ada, OK) to face the Pirates in a non-league match on Monday, August 14. The Pirates go into the match with a record of 1-3.
