Georgia High School Softball - South Effingham bounces Emanuel County Institute

South Effingham Mustangs (Guyton, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs (Twin City, GA), 12-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Mustangs now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Savannah Christian for a non-league challenge on Monday, August 14. South Effingham will face a Raiders squad coming off a 12-3 non-league win over Islands (Savannah, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 3-0.

With the loss, Emanuel County Institute falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Toombs County (Lyons, GA) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Monday, August 14. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 0-1. Toombs County lost 4-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Ware County (Waycross, GA)
