The McLoud Redskins (McLoud, OK) softball routed the visiting Okemah Panthers (Okemah, OK), 9-1 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Redskins (4-1) will now prepare for their bout against Blanchard (Blanchard, OK). The Lions go into the 4A District 4 bout with a 6-11 record. In their last bout, Blanchard toppled Southmoore (Moore, OK), 4-3, in a non-league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Preston for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 12. Okemah will confront a Pirates squad coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Holdenville (Holdenville, OK). The Pirates record now stands at 3-0.
