With the win, West Lowndes upgrades its record to 1-1 on the year. The Panthers travel to Columbus (Columbus, MS) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 15. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 1-1.

The Wildcats now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Forest for a non-league bout on Monday, August 14. Kemper County will play a Bearcats squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Newton (Newton, MS). The Bearcats record now stands at 2-1.
