The North Pontotoc Vikings volleyball team (Ecru, MS), was dropped 3-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Myrtle Hawks (Myrtle, MS)

The Hawks (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Biggersville (Corinth, MS). The Lions enter the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Biggersville was dropped by East Union (Blue Springs, MS), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Vikings meet the West Jones Mustangs (Laurel, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 12. North Pontotoc will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Hickory Flat (Hickory Flat, MS).
