Simpson Academy Cougars (Mendenhall, MS) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Tri-County Academy Rebels (Flora, MS), 5-2 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Simpson Academy upgrades its record to 12-1 on the year. The Cougars travel to Marshall Academy (Holly Springs, MS) to play the Patriots in a non-league game on Saturday, August 10. The Patriots enter the game with a record of 0-0.
