The Dewar Dragons softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Wetumka Chieftains to 0 in the Dragons league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Dewar moves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Dragons travel to Checotah (Checotah, OK) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league game on Friday, August 12. The Wildcats come into the game with a record of 0-4. Checotah lost 10-2 in their recent league game against Fort Gibson (Fort Gibson, OK)
In their next game, the Chieftains clash with the Haileyville Warriors (Haileyville, OK) in a Class A game, on Friday, August 12. Wetumka will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record.
