The Denton Broncos topped the visiting Lubbock Westerners volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Broncos now have a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Red Oak for a non-league test on Thursday, August 11. Denton will confront a Hawks team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Highland Park (Dallas, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 0-2.
The Westerners (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Pinkston (Dallas, TX). The Vikings enter the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Pinkston was knocked off by North Garland (Garland, TX), 3-0, in a non-league test.
