The Starkville Yellowjackets (Starkville, MS) volleyball overcame the host Noxapater Tigers (Noxapater, MS), 3-0 in Thursday's non-league outing.

With the win, Starkville betters its record to 1-4 on the year. The Yellowjackets travel to Brandon (Brandon, MS) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league outing on Saturday, August 13. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a record of 8-1. Brandon won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against St. Andrew's Episcopal (Ridgeland, MS)
