Preston Pirates (Preston, OK) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Holdenville Wolverines (Holdenville, OK), 9-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Pirates now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Okemah for a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 12. Preston will face a Panthers squad coming off a 9-1 non-league loss to McLoud (McLoud, OK). The Panthers record now stands at 0-4.

With the loss, Holdenville falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Beggs (Beggs, OK) to face the Demons in a 3A challenge on Friday, August 11. The Demons enter the challenge with a record of 1-9. Beggs lost 16-0 in their recent league challenge against Morris (Morris, OK)
