In Friday's non-league contest, the Moss Pirates (Holdenville, OK) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Strother Yellowjackets (Seminole, OK), by a margin of 19-1.

With the triumph, Moss moves its record to 4-0 on the year. The Pirates travel to Stuart (Stuart, OK) to play the Hornets in a Class B contest on Friday, August 11. The Hornets come into the contest with a record of 4-1.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets play the Sasakwa Vikings (Sasakwa, OK) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 12. Strother will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Vikings come into the contest with a 2-0 record after their 18-1 league win over Earlsboro (Earlsboro, OK).
