Texas High School Volleyball - Eastland edged by Brownwood

The Brownwood Lions held off the visiting Eastland Mavericks volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Friday's non-league test.
The Lions now have a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clyde for a non-league test on Saturday, August 12. Brownwood will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Sweetwater (Sweetwater, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-3.
The Mavericks (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Llano (Llano, TX). The Yellowjackets enter the non-league test with a 1-4 record. In their last test, Llano was nudged by Iowa Park (Iowa Park, TX), 2-1, in a non-league test.
