    The Edgewood Bulldogs (Edgewood, TX) volleyball overcame the visiting Sanger Indians (Sanger, TX), 2-0 in Friday's non-league outing.

    With the win, Edgewood betters its record to 4-3 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Pleasant Grove (Texarkana, TX) to face the Hawks in a non-league outing on Saturday, August 12. The Hawks go into the outing with a record of 6-1. Pleasant Grove won 2-1 in their recent non-league outing against Princeton (Princeton, TX)

    The Indians now sport a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Texas for a non-league outing on Friday, August 11. Sanger will face a Tigers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Gilmer (Gilmer, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 4-0.
