In Monday's non-league test, the Berrien Rebels (Nashville, GA) softball squad the host Irwin County Indians (Ocilla, GA), by a tally of 4-1.

Next, the Rebels clash with the Fitzgerald Purple Hurricane (Fitzgerald, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 1 test, on Tuesday, August 12. Berrien will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Purple Hurricane go into the test with a 1-1 record after their 17-1 non-league loss to Crisp County (Cordele, GA).

The Indians (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Turner County (Ashburn, GA). The Titans go into the 1A D-II Region 2 test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Turner County held off Mitchell County (Camilla, GA), 21-5, in a non-league test.
