Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Salem Wildcats (Tylertown, MS) and the visiting Amite County Trojans (Liberty, MS), observed Salem's volleyball team top Amite County by a count of 3-0.

The Wildcats (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against South Pike (Magnolia, MS). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, South Pike achieved victory over Jefferson County (Fayette, MS), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Trojans battle the Salem Wildcats (Tylertown, MS) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, August 14. Amite County will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record.
