Fort Elliott Cougars (Briscoe, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Holy Cross Catholic Academy Mustangs (Amarillo, TX), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Cougars (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Caprock (Amarillo, TX). The Longhorns enter the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Caprock beat Perryton (Perryton, TX), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs meet the Miami Warriors (Miami, TX) in a non-league test, on Friday, August 15. Holy Cross Catholic Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
