The Meridian Wildcats edged the host Southeast Lauderdale Tigers volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Monday's non-league outing.
The Wildcats now possess a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to West Lowndes for a non-league outing on Tuesday, August 12. Meridian will play a Panthers team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Columbus (Columbus, MS). The Panthers record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Southeast Lauderdale drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Northeast Lauderdale (Meridian, MS) to confront the Trojans in a non-league game on Thursday, August 14. The Trojans enter the game with a record of 2-6. Northeast Lauderdale lost 3-0 in their recent non-league game against Union (Union, MS)
