The Orange Grove Bulldogs nudged the host Sinton Pirates volleyball team by a tally of 3-2 in Monday's non-league outing.
The Bulldogs now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to McMullen County for a non-league outing on Thursday, August 14. Orange Grove will play a Cowboys team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Jourdanton (Jourdanton, TX). The Cowboys record now stands at 0-1.
The Pirates (0-1) will now prepare for their game against King (Corpus Christi, TX). The Mustangs go into the non-league outing with a 0-0 record.
