With the win, Rutland improves its record to 2-4 on the season. The Hurricanes host Mount de Sales Academy (Macon, GA) to face the Cavaliers in a non-league test on Tuesday, August 12. The Cavaliers go into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Patriots now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westside for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 12. Southwest will face a Seminoles squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Mary Persons (Forsyth, GA). The Seminoles record now stands at 1-1.
