In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Southaven Chargers volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Senatobia Warriors.
The Chargers (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Lewisburg (Olive Branch, MS). The Patriots go into the Class 7A Region 1 test with a 5-2 record. In their last test, Lewisburg was defeated by Lake Cormorant (Lake Cormorant, MS), 3-0, in a non-league test.
The Warriors now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Center Hill for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 12. Senatobia will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to DeSoto Central (Southaven, MS). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-3.
