New Castle Trojans (New Castle, IN) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Union County Patriots (Liberty, IN), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Trojans confront the Connersville Spartans (Connersville, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 15. New Castle will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record.

The Patriots now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Batesville for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 15.
