The Choctaw Yellowjackets routed the visiting Skiatook Bulldogs softball squad by a count of 7-1 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Yellowjackets (7-3) will now prepare for their battle against Union (Tulsa, OK). The Redhawks go into the non-league battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, Union nudged Lincoln Christian (Tulsa, OK), 5-4, in a non-league battle.
The Bulldogs now sport a 0-5 record. They play next when they host Vinita for a non-league battle on Monday, August 14. Skiatook will meet a Hornets squad coming off a 18-2 non-league loss to Quapaw (Quapaw, OK). The Hornets record now stands at 4-6.
