The River Oaks Mustangs softball team (Monroe, LA), was routed 11-1 in Saturday's non-league test with the visiting Claiborne Academy Rebels (Haynesville, LA)

Coming up next, the Rebels encounter the Prairie View Academy Spartans (Bastrop, LA) in a non-league test, on Monday, August 14. Claiborne Academy will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Spartans enter the test with a 1-2 record after their 7-2 non-league loss to Briarfield Academy (Lake Providence, LA).

The Mustangs (6-3) will now prepare for their test against Porter's Chapel Academy (Vicksburg, MS). The Eagles enter the test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, Porter's Chapel Academy was routed by Wilkinson County Christian Academy (Woodville, MS), 15-3, in a non-league test.
