The Brookstone Cougars held off the visiting Valwood Valiants volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Cougars now have a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Valdosta for a non-league test on Thursday, August 17. Brookstone will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Highland Christian Academy (Valdosta, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-1.

The Valiants (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Grace Christian Academy (Bainbridge, GA). The Cougars enter the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Grace Christian Academy was nudged by Georgia Christian (Valdosta, GA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
